Fair but the clips scratch the vent grills
I contemplating this was the perfect solution for my iphone 4 especially when using it as GPS (Navigon) and mp3 player at the same time using bluetooth. The iphone often heats up and since this cradle is relevant in front of the vent it should cool off the phone. However the teeth from the two clips are very sharp and scratches the rubberized vent cloud. Now I'm not using the clips anymore and instead got a suction mount. The quality however is all right. It holds the phone firmly and is easy to adjust. But the casing for the phone must be removed before the phone can be installed. If you don't mind scratching the vents or your vents are not suffused by some film then this item should work for you

Works well....
Using this mount with my iPhone 4. It was amiable to mount and for the money, I am pretty happy with it. I'm not sure it was specifically designed for the iPhone 4 because of how it fits of laughter, but it holds it securely and that's what I bough it for. Oh, and you can't use a case with this mount which I think should be fairly obvious but.. never positive. :0

Friendly fit
Relaxing fit for iphone 4 only if it is without bumper or cover. Easy to install on car vent, easy to adjust the status of the iphone and very secure after tightening the screw knob. I hope it has other color options to parallel the interior of my car, that would be superb

Cogent case. Not quite what I'd hoped for, though.
The "leather" coating feels like nothing more than inscrutable plastic. And, the kickstand is a bear to get out (I have to use an ink pen or something similar to pop it out -- it's so difficult to do that you're liable to break a secure). Having said all that, it's a solid, hard plastic case with a leather look. A little slippery to hold though. And, once you get the kickstand actually out, it's pretty cool. Update: Now that I've had the case on my Droid X for a bit, here are a yoke more observations: It actually begins to have more of a slight "leather feel" the longer I've used it. The kickstand is unessential when charging, as it is on the same side as the mini USB port, rendering it unusable for that purpose. Looks good on the X, but origin to wonder now how much I'll actually use the kickstand.

Sensible case. Far from perfect though.
The Amzer Small Edition Elite Leather Snap On Hard Case is an exact clone of the crate Verizon sells at its stores for $25. I've bought a couple of different style cases for my Droid X, and so far this one is the one I like most. It frenzy very well, even with the BH6X extended battery. It's not bulky, and weighs little. It's far from perfect though. The case is actually a responsive shell, with a thin leather skin glued onto it. I have my doubts that it will hold up for a long period of period. The kickstand while useful, is next to impossible to open without excessive force. It also rattles when closed, which annoys me. Phone guardianship is probably minimal too. For now it's my case of choice, but I'll keep looking for something better. Edit: I have to change my way of thinking on the protection the case provides. Yesterday, I accidentally dropped my phone on a concrete sidewalk. The phone hit on its top question. Although there's a good sized gash in the case, the phone survived...

It's quite good for what it is meant to be...
I well-deserved don't get the negative reviews of this case. What are folks expecting? Good grief. It's a two-piece tiring shell lined with leather. Works great and feels nice. Every access unit to the device is open and it does protect it as much as any other stupid case would. And for so cheap, it baffles me that population want total immunity from their peculiar challenges. Just get it already...

At most received this item about 30 min. ago. I shall see if this lanyard holds up over time. Pretty rigorous nylon cord for the neck portion. The receiving portion at the end is made from plastic and the button has to be pushed all the way in to remission the ring portion. The removable ring portion however is made from metal with a rotating inner circus with the black part being plastic, it fits inside the receiving unit rather loosely. I believe the understanding for that is to have positive assurance that you have locked it into place securely past the three little stops for the inner metal give someone a ring. The actual cord that loops into the phone seems strong after a moderate tug test. I think you should keep in mind that justifiable because there are plastic parts does not mean cheaply constructed, that being...

Tucker vent mount I've used
Very considerable product. It's a bit more than other vent mounts, but worth every penny. Very strong construction, and the spring mounts are an omit design. Almost makes me want to replace my old car to match this fine vent mount. Was using the Arkon, which started falling off after several months. I don't commiserate with why some people say it doesn't work with the iPhone 4. Holds mine perfectly, which is in a Speck in the event that. This one I expect to last as long my iPhone 4. Buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Fits of laughter perfect in an '01 Accord!
I bought this element as a surprise for my boyfriend before we left for a few road trips. It works great!! He has an '01 Honda Agreement (2 door) and the vents are big and fat so, with a little force, they clicked in great and stay in one improper. I think because they are wide that there isn't an issue. I haven't tried it in my '01 Prelude yet, but it doesn't move, tremble, make sounds, or lose the phone. We both have iPhone 4's and it charges great (don't need the feet at the bottom, stays in quarters without them). Plus, when you loosen the adjustment ring you can turn it into landscape mode that really comes in usable for directions because the map is much better at that angle. It's not really black-black, rather a grey-ish black and looks much more dear than what you pay. Only problem is...I didn't get two! I haven't tested it out on smaller or more narrow vents yet as other reviews have and it's not as competent. Super good buy though, would recommend this purchase without a doubt!!

Works well with 2009 Honda CRV
Before getting this mount, I would put my iphone in the cup holder compass in the CRV precariously picking it up and using it while driving. With this mount, the iphone functions now almost as if it was built into the destroy. Much much safer for driving in my opinion because you can keep your eyes on the road! I would highly recommend this to anyone with iPhone 4!!
