I gave it a four because when I first got it, it took me period to see and get used to the keys because they are kind-of small. If you want bigger buttons get 8330, my sister has one, thirst I could switch with hers, but mine is newer and no tracking ball, which I really like to.. about this phone. Its sleek and easy to sail..Before I had this one I had the 8120, ah--big difference the charge on 8520 last longer and takes a little time to saturate up, but its worth it. Also, the keys I wished lighted up a bit brighter, BUT like I said once you have it after a few days you get familiar to it. My one problem with as I am thinking off the top of my head ..is there are not enough apps to go with or themes made for this model. I am a geek for that, but as of now I have been able to download a few off my blackberry 8120 to my 8520. Also, checking around i was capable to get a few more themes, that are just awesome. The 2gb memory card that comes with it I took out and put in my 4gb...

surely no iPhone ... which is a good thing!
the 8520 phone in fact works well on at&t! no matter how much you learn the iphone keyboard, a blackberry full physical qwerty still wins, hands down. the spell checker and predictive font on bberry is better vs iphone and with the physical keyboard you misspell a lot less. since you can sync your itunes on here you only "misinterpret" the iphone for its apps which really only work best on wifi. 8520 is lightweight, really thin, very light, has nicely spaced keys, and really cool media controls blended into the top of the seal. nice use of rubber here on the device too lends some durability to glossy plastic finish. I jammed a 16G nand twinkling of an eye card into it too so i have music, movies etc with me. I bought the unlocked version since i use the 8520 when traveling to US from extensively .... without a full blackberry data package you lose out on things like email and blackberry messenger - but this is my 2nd/go phone so i dont care too much - I use it when in the US with pay as you go on at&t -...

Very satisfactory phone: unlocked, delivery shipping OK, new box, the only bad thing is that this model doesn't iclude any leather come what may neither the memory card. Completely I got my new device and I can tell that it was all that I was expecting. I bought it from Amazon.com store (not another seller) and when the box arrived the first sentiment that I checked was the model number and it is RCM72UW, which works with 3G bands 850/1900/2100, so this is AT&T, Rogers, Telus example...not T-Mobile model, so this is good news for me 'cause I use Movistar-Venezuela service. Well, to be fair I can not assure that Amazon.com will always be sending this particular model because they don't make any difference about the 3G compatibility and credence in me 'cause I expend a lot of mails to customers service and they couldn't give me this detailed info. I took the risks and bought it anyway. Another info displayed on the box: Blackberry Brave 9780 Smartphone, 1256- Americas (Spanish) QWERTY-Black. Model RCM72UW, Made in Mexico. I recently bought a phone blackberry 9780 from Worldwide Distributors. In the Detailed details of the product it clearly states "Quad-band GSM cell phone compatible with 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and US/Ecumenical 3G compatibility via 800/850/1900/2100/ 1700/2100 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA plus GPRS/EDGE capabilities" The phone I received is not like-minded with all 3G bands as stated. I got a T-Mobile phone which works with 3G bands 1, 4, 8 (2100, 1700, and 900) and does not vocation with 1900 my operator 3G band. I am dissapointed that Amazon been a company of such high reputation allows sellers to bruit about such false advertisement.

Worn hopefully not abused - Well very abused
The phone was advertised as trade-mark new when i bought it in early January 2011. To my surprise, I switched it on to find a thread of love school-book messages from some guy back in Oct 2010 which obviously means it had been used. The phone does look brand new and currently works without any problems. It ameliorate stay that way considering how much $$$$ is splashed out for the device!!!!So after about one month, the key pad especially the BB knob started malfunctioning. I tried to return the phone unfortunately, becos i moved to Africa just after the purchase, US customs made it difficult to return to seller. So i decided to cut my losses and buy a new key pad which i did. It worked bettor although for the BB button, it was still faulty. I then realized it was a problem not of the key pad, but in the underlying board.So i've had to live and struggle with the phone until yesterday when the shelter went crazy. Hello, I am surprised to comprehend the other reviews of this great product.Firstly, let me attest, this is a new Blackberry curve 8330 in mint working equip. Yes, when it came it did not have a lot of features etc on it, like apps, ability to set up multiple emails, etc. I had to just call Verizon to set it up, and they made me update the software on it, and everything was all set in seconds. It had wit to set up several emails, had a browser, camera, video recorder, media player, voice memo recorder, some root games, blackberry messenger, memo pad, alarm clock, ability to set my own ring tone (which I cant do on my iPhone), etc.1) Myths from reviews:- Yes it is a CDMA phone, not a GSM phone. So to the spanish litt's comments, if you cant read english, then thats not the product's or the seller's problem. Terrifying phone for the price!!!
I have never owned a BlackBerry and I am exceptionally impressed with this phone. This phone is great! I just got it delivered today and I am in love with it. I love that it tells you when you have a theme message by the flashing red light. The camera on this phone is amazing and it has zoom too! The pictures look like they are specialist!

Keep one's ears open to me
So I bought the phone because my droid eris with verizon rapidly stopped working (not gunna lie i am a clutz & dropped it a million times but thats besides the put) so it was a bit of a downgrade...HOWEVER this little thing is mighty powerful. It does require a data package deal not a SIM card CDMS w/e...I've had it for about a week and have already dropped it twice and it worrks might fine :) Deffinitely significance buying it came brand new in the box with just a charger no scratches or anything. I will post a review later on with regards to how it is doing. ALSO it DOES HAVE A WEB BROWSER the fixation is you need to go to the blackberry market and install it. I have a browser and a bing application. You can download games and such the only detail that is somewhat of a bummer is that i don't get emotion-cons. If anyone knows how to get them please let me know. I did do some shopping around and was very skeptical about buying a phone off amazon...i went to ebay, and other honest...

Upper-class FM transmitter for my HTC Evo
When I got the HTC Evo back at the commencement of June I just went to Wal Mart and picked up an FM transmitter there for 50 dollars, but it would only radio to the radio but not charge the phone. For anyone who has an Evo, you know that the battery life is not good. Plus it had a so much excess wiring. I returned it and bought this off of amazon and it is marvellous. It paired within 10 seconds and transmits with barely noticeable no static, transmits far excel than the 50 dollar thing I got from Wal-Mart or the FM transmitter I had for my iphone. I put my phone onto pandora, plug in the pony and set it down and if a song comes up I want to skip, I can just hit the forward button on the flexSmart element which can be easily adjusted to any position for your hand. I love this thing, its not obtrusive, theres not a ton of over-sufficiency wiring, just the gooseneck and if you want to charge it simultaneously you can just plug it into the usb mooring with the included 6 inch wire or use...

Okay, so perhaps everybody knows this, but this isn't just for the Android phone-- it's compatible with the iPhone 4 as well. I wasn't sure of this (I've never definitely messed with bluetooth before) as they list the FlexSmart on here for the iPhone and the Android phone as separate products. The one listed for the iPhone is in point of fact more money and is not Prime eligible, so I took a chance and just ordered this one. Success, it worked!
