New firmware saves the day
The Dell Venue Pro is emotionally fastidious to review. This phone looked like a game changer--the prophesized device to rally the masses to the Windows Phone plank. Unfortunately, there have been previous issues with the phone that have caused it to just miss the mark. However, a recent Dell firmware update has restored my fealty in the device. This review is based on using the phone for 7 months, and using it with the new firmware update for 1 month.Ironmongery From a purely visual standpoint, I'd say the DVP is....flat out cool. The 4.1" display is submersed with slightly curved gorilla glass that both looks and feels great. The sides of the phone have a chrome metallic look (it's still responsive) and the back has a texture rich plastic cover with a repeating cut diamond pattern. Preposterous fit and finish
I got this phone about a month ago and I could not be more contented. I moved from the dismal 6.5 version of Windows Mobile to this new WP7 Dell device and it is like usual from an old VW beetle to a brand new Porsche. I would say this is arguable the best looking device of all Windows 7 phones. The pullout keyboard is delicate for when you need to type longer emails. A few obervations: Battery life: very good all in all the device. Lasts easilly all day with browsing and calling. Only strange thing is if you completely sapping the battery to the point the phone shuts itself down, if you plug it back in, the phone won't power up at all for about 5 minutes! so not good if you run out of battery and poverty to make a call immediately. Screen: extremely bright, clear and sharp. Scratch uncompliant Quality of construction: Very solid device. The sliding motion feels really meet and solid. Shiny metal on the edges makes it stand out. A Bizarre Phone (post firmware update)
This phone is excluding. I purchased this phone in early February of this year and immediately fell in love. Firstly, Windows Phone 7 software is stunning. It works just like the iphone in terms of amazing simplicity, but the presentation is much crap-shooter. The facebook/contact integration is great and looks great. Zune is on par with itunes, but looks improve. Everything looks better on this phone compared to Droid and Iphone, you just have to try it. Live tiles penniless and will even get better with the Mango update coming in September. Call quality is great. This phone has very commendable speakers, games are fun to play on the screen as it has the 2nd biggest screen on a Windows Phone, but is not too big. The battery life last about 1 day, but a litte less with melancholy usage, so have a charger at work and one at home. The phone is a little heavy, but somehow it helps you from dropping it. Accurate
This crate is perfect. It is very thin so it does not add to the bulk of the phone, yet it feels like it gives a reasonable amount of protection. It is bespoke exactly for the phone, so there are not any parts of it that are loose.The only downside was that it shipped from Hong Kong so it took a while to get to me. It is always fun to get a container from oversees though.

Normally I would only give this a 4, but I have to indemnify to 1 star from the last reviewer(Who was really complaining about the seller not about the product). It really does state look after great protection but at a cost. It makes the phone twice as thick and adds weight. It has fallen a several of times off the clip, but it could have been my fault. No damage with all that padding though

Approving Case
I have two other Otterbox Defender cases for my IPHONES. That is why I bought this cover for my Dell Streak. It does everything the other cases did for my IPHONES. Buy it, you will like it. I cannot imagine owning a Dell Streak and watching what happens when it drops on the rout without a case like this around it. What a NIGHTMARE that would be! Also, the case cover is a little bit "sticky" so it will not slide around on the inventory like other phone covers. I like that a lot.

Seppuku denied ... Otterbox to the release
About a year a go i bought the Dell Layer and less than a month later i broke it. suffice it to say i was delusional with thoughts of seppuku running through my be in. while in the midsts of my "hari kari" I had another truly horrifying thought ... I'm gonna have to buy another one. After shedding tears and ponying up more notes for another Dell Streak I made it a point to find an almost indestructible case for the phone. Lets be honest here, I'm a bit of a klutz. Breaking overpriced pieces of technology is my forte. This case has saved my phone's life on many occasions. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for the Otterbox box i bought for my Dell Streak. Thank you Otterbox for a job well done.

obedient charger
I've employed this charger for a day now. I've used it to charge two iPhone 3GS at once, also on an HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid, and HTC Hero. It comes with 3 charging cables: mini, micro, and ipod. It will take any other USB radio you want to shove in there. It's a nice charger becuase it folds up small, and it does AC charging, DC charging, or you can out in some AA's while you are out and about for some charging. One things is that it didn't give so much power from generic AA's. I tried some from the 99 cent stow away that didn't work amazing. Then I tried some Mitsubishi Alkaline batteries, and then some generic Ni-MH recharegables and it worked a lot well-advised. Also, one thing is that it ONLY CHARGES ONE DEVICE AT A TIME with AA batteries. By AC and DC it did two iPhones at once. This charger DOESN'T custody AA batteries. It actually only takes juice FROM them to your phone. It's a fun toy and it beats the heck out of the ugly oem chargers which can price just...

TRANS4M 4-in-1 Laconic Cell Phone Charger
Messed around a small charging my HTC Incredible. Also charged my MP3 player. I used USB batteries, around half charged, 600mAh. They did a upright job of keeping the Incredible charged while I used it. After a few hours or so of part-time use, the charging indicator on the phone disappeared even though the red set fire to on the TRANS4M was still on so I'm not sure if there was a trickle of battery power still going to the phone or not. I unplugged it to see if the batteries continued to spend. After a few hours, the light faded and the batteries were dead. The DC car plug (folds into the AA battery covering) doesn't lock when out so might flop around if you're on bumpy roads or going over speed bumps. [Side Note] Not a big take care of. I made the mistake of using my other cables and only now discovered the cables that come with the TRANS4M do not work on statistics transfer. They only charge the device.
