    Not what I'd hoped for.
    I was very dejected in this mount. Not only did the detents for the rotating mechanism not engage, but the engagement into the power socket was blurred. While driving around a corner, the whole mount would move. While this might be a nifty idea on paper, the execution was lacking. Very lousy and flimsy product.I did not use this product very long, but for the time I did use it the charging system seemed to work fine.

    Not what I expected
    The fill someone in provided on this product does not depict what I received.     Worldwide Cell Phone Vehicle Mount- 12V
    It is what it is. I opened a few and far between package, which I liked, as who likes having to open layer upon layer of plastic wrap. In the box was an almost pre-assembled limitless holder for a phone and a cable. I did have to attach the 12V power adapter to the gooseneck but it was a simple connection, no instructions required. Not reliable what type of phone the cable was for but it will not work with my iPhone but that was not what I bought this for. What I wanted was a gooseneck that plugged into the cigarette lighter that is centrally located in my channel, so I did not have to deal with mounting something on a window. I plugged it into the cigarette lighter and did some fine tuning on adjustments and find that it labour acceptably. It does seem to be a bit cheaply constructed and the connection loosen up easily but it does what I had expected and nothing more. For $20, I would say it is O.K. In actuality, I bought another and sent it to a friend.
