Preferably what I got was a box full of goodies. First you have the battery itself, which while of a fairly large size, seems to fit perfectly with the odd case I have for my iPod Disturb. The connection from the battery to the iPod has some amount of flexibility, which is rather nice. This battery can then be charged either by setting it on top of the charging install, or you can plug a USB (mini B, I believe) into it directly and charge that way. The base station is of a nice enough evil intent that I had no difficulty setting the battery on it. It too has a USB cable for power. Additionally the package comes with a power vent to USB device, which means that I can also use my standard iPod cable...
Fitting enough charger
As the freestyle for my iPhone 3G (soon to be replaced), seems to drain FAST, this is a great product for me. Pros - it's a self-denial charge and a nice additional battery for when (playing Angry Birds) my phone battery is constant low. It's good to keep on hand and quite portable. Cons - It doesn't suction to the iPhone 3G very well. I take on oneself this is because of the curved back, whereas the 4 is flat. The adapter is really bright. It glows blue and lights up my bedroom. It's not pinch to keep in a bedroom, or at least, never leave it plugged in at night. My alarm doesn't go off when the battery pack is plugged in. I don't distinguish why this is, but it's happened a few times already. This could just be a 3G problem though. It's bulky. If you keep your phone in your pocket, this will not work for you. I received this point through the Vine program for my iPhone. Here are my thoughts on this product: I was extremely impressed at everything that was included in this charging set from Phillips. I have ordered three discrete designs of "extra battery" packs for the iPhone and have always received just that - some sort of dividable, flimsy device that provided a small amount of extra power. It was also something that I had to charge seperately using my one existing Apple rope. This solves quite a few of those problems.
