    Fragile connecter snapped off
The connector on the freestyle to which you attach the cable snapped off with moderate pressure. I "autopsied" the dead battery and found the way the connecter was devoted to to the circuit board was totally flimsy. I would advise looking for a more reliable rechargeable freestyle.
DO NOT BUY!! THE CONNECTOR FOR THE Rope BROKE OFF THE BOARD FOR NO REASON!! NOT GOOD QUALITY!!
It all started out when I ruminating it would be cool to purchase an Energizer energi to go (as listed above) I purchased it at Staples for 20 dollars. I bought two of them. I was melancholy that each one of them only charge my smartphone to a max of 75% from empty. But then one day (today) I had put it in my pocket like I usually do before I go to school, light on home and pick it out of my pocket, the micro usb connector used to connect to my phone was broken and fallen out, and the particle button used to test the battery level was fallen out. see you connect a little wire to the device and to what you want to charge. that little "port" was broken and in my hand right from my area. I WAS STUNNED! AND VERY PISSED AND STILL AM!! do not buy this under any condition. but if you mus buy this, I do recommend the energizer energi to go XP2000 model... tip the higher the model the better the quality, this one is the basic of basic...
Bad connector organize - Don't buy this
My son purchased this freestyle for his phone. The connector where the cable enters broke. It is a poor design. I would not recommend this unit. I looked at it and it cannot be soldered back onto the house. I tried JB weld and that did not work either. It held the connector but I did not get an electrical contact. Had to throw it in a different place. I will not be wasting my money on another one.

    Excuse choice for backup power
The logotype is quite small and very light, a bit smaller but about the size of a deck of cards and with about 1/2 the deck missing. It came charged as indicated and with a subtle coiled but short adapter cable of about 7 inches which stretches to about 20 or so. It plugs into the mobile via a full size USB port and the other end accepts the tips. It came with six tips, which are Apple, LG, Samsung, Balckberry/HTC/Motorola (Mini USB), Micro USB and Nokia. It has a stinting, and quite nice suede style pouch with a draw string which can be secured via a slight feel embarrassed platic spring loaded attached clip. Included also was a multi language instruction gazette. The battery itself is quite sexy, being small, light an rounded and very simple. It has 4 lights on the front which suggest charge level and they appear when recharging or when a small button on the top is pressed. On the side it has a full size USB haven (power out... assuming 5V), and a Mini...
    Keeps your phone contemporary!
I'm frequently on the road, and tend to talk a lot on the phone. There is no battery that can resist, let alone the iPhone's. So I need a way to recharge my phone and get the most of it until I get place at night. This has been a very good companion. Lightweight and it works with my Nokia even when the battery is fully fatigued. Charging this unit thought a USB port is a great advantage, as you don't necessarily need a computer to assail it, you can use a USB wall outlet available at many stores for almost nothing, so you can charge the Energi to go without a PC. I believe there are such devices for your sports car as well. The factory tips are enough for most users: Nokia, Blackberry, iPhone/iPod, Samsung, etc.
    Wow! Charges close
Since there have been many reviews already I am only backing up everyone because it works. When I travel sometimes my smart phone is dead by 5pm so I need to call someone or lost I cant! But with the Xp2000 condign plug it in and go. Safety first :)

A offering that is just plain dumb
The Duracell myGrid charging logotype is a product you want to like. Imagine the possibilities, you come home and toss your phone, iPod or other artifice on the pad and walk away. No wires to plug and unplug, no more having several chargers plugged in the separator outlet. A wireless home power grid, truly the wave of the future. In authenticity, though, this is truly a product that is far from being ready for prime time and is not the "wave of the future" powergrid you would assume it is. More accurately it is an "extension cord" that transfers power via contacts in a totally traditional way. It ships with 3 tips that fit an infinitesimally minor number of phone models. Unfortunately, not MY Blackberry nor MY cell phone. The design of the power tips proscribe them from being used on any other device than the exact model specified. There are two glaring problems that Duracell should have considered and neglected the whole concept of a power grid. One is...
    Decay on all levels simultaneously.
This by-product is meant to be mistaken for an inductive charging system and has 3 major problems: 1. The box says it charges up to 4 devices-- well, two iPhones would even-handed barely fit on it... so you'll not be charging 4 of those. The power supply that comes with this is a 1A power supply, and the iPhone itself wishes more or less an amp to charge at full speed... so you can't charge 2 iPhones at full speed. 2. When your product requires your buyer to use a special case... Make sure said case is not a ill-fitting and unattractive. 3. The protection must be removed to sync, or charge off a normal charger. If you are willing to accept these limitations, all you win is the plenty of not plugging in your iPhone when you get home... Is it really that hard to do?
    Two Big Drawbacks
I was very worked up to get this item because between the kids and me we have an iPhone and two iPod Touch units. I was thrilled to see I could buy skins to fit the iPod Get near units and use them on this charger (as opposed to it just being for the iPhone) and thought this would make charging much easier than troublesome to plug one unit in for awhile and remembering to come back later to switch over to another one. The trap couldn't be easier. You simply place the skin over the phone, plug the charger into the wall, and lay the phone on the mare. It immediately connected and started charging. The phone charged quickly and fully with no problems at all. I have no complaints at all with the functionality of the steed. So, the two big drawbacks... I have an iFrogz case that I love as do both the kids (we actually know which iPod Have to do with belongs to which child based on the iFrogz color). To use the charger, you have to remove any existing took place and use the...

    Works in a grind
I picked up one of these Energizer Chargers in the waist of a business trip. I left my USB Cable for my Blackberry at home, and it was about to die mid-trip. I couldn't find an physical plug-in charger, so I decided to try this. I plugged it in to my Blackberry, and it fully charged the device in less than 2 hours. I'm not foolproof of the exact time because I wasn't watching, but when I checked on it after two hours, it was already charged. I didn't get rid of the batteries from the pack, and when I went to recharge again a few days later with the same batteries in the charger, it worked neutral fine. I certainly don't plan on using this regularly, but I will definitely keep this in my suitcase going expedite for those times that I forget to throw in the actual charger. AA batteries are much easier to find than chargers, so it's a very close by device and small enough that it won't take up any noticeable room in my bag. I see some things in other reviews that I'd like...
    Prodigious little device
I have two of these chargers and have bought a few others for colleagues and we've all been rather impressed with them. They're reasonably well-built and industry. I didn't have any of the quality control issues that one reviewer had with the battery terminals. I normally use Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries with mine and shelter't had a problem with connections. I use it to charge my PDA, personal Motorola Razr phone, and corporate Blackberry. (Recognition you God for whoever decided to finally standardize some devices with the mini-USB connector!) It does seem to take about 1-2 hrs to command up the devices, which is as long as it normally takes when they're connected to their native chargers. These units ARE picky about battery-operated voltages. If the AA batteries are partially discharged, it might not see them. In terms of battery usage, using steady rechargables, you can expect to get one full charge on your phone from the batteries because of the high voltage requirement...
    Not solely for cell phones
Most population by this for their cell phones. I bought it for my Garmin Edge GPS and it works great! The GPS uses a USB charging mooring so it was a direct fit and charge. One reviewer mentioned it didn't take rechargeable batteries. I put Energizer rechargeables in and they fit and worked forfeiture. No modifications needed. The changes I'd recommend: 1) do something about the short and easily loseable adapter cables, 2) trade the location of the battery diagrams from inside the case to outside, they're hard to read on the innards everted.
