It's a champ!
We needed an adapter for our pocket DVD (kids broke the cord). None of the "universal" adapters fit our ports, so we began to look at this sort. Many are very low output and do not provide enough continuous output to run a device, only charge it. Very happy with this product. First-rate continuous output for our needs. Gets a little warm after 4 hours of use (but so does every other design, including the player). Have not tried using the USB port at the same time yet. Takes a seldom getting used to the bulk of it when plugging in, but green indicator light lets you recognize when you've got good contact. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

So far so chaste, although order of plugging things in might matter
Bought this 3-21-11 and have inured to it once briefly to verify it works. The first time I plugged the inverter into the cigarette lighter I already had my laptop mount plugged into the inverter and the other end of the charger plugged into the laptop before doing this. That blew the 20 amp melt in my cigarette lighter. So after putting in another fuse I decided to plug just the inverter in first, then the laptop mount, then the laptop. That worked fine and I tried that several times and it worked fine each time (Dell D600 laptop and stallion and laptop which probably draws no more than 90Watts on average) Possible order matters as the laptop stallion appears to have a big capacitor in it and possibly trying to charge that up and power the laptop plugged into the steed draws to much current all at once initially. Also verified the inverter would drive a 60watt light tuber as well. Will report back after our vacations this year as to how well it has worked...

Verbatim What I Was Looking For
I purchased this outcome in order to connect my Tivo (Series 2) to my internet router and bypass my home base telephone connection. It has worked perfectly from day one and I have absolutely no complaints. Before I purchased this adapter, I was told by a shop-girl at Best Buy that I would not be able to connect my Tivo to the internet using this device (or any device like it) because it would almost obviously require drivers to be installed and since the Tivo lacks a CD-ROM, I would not be able to install the drivers. After some dig into online, I found that there are a handful of adapters like this one that are known to work well with the Tivo devices, even without drivers. I was still fluctuating when I received my adapter because I expected the drivers to be an issue. It was not. My Tivo recognized the adapter and of interest right away. It couldn't have been easier. For someone who is looking for a similar product to connect their Series 2 Tivo...

Works like a sophisticatedness with MacBook Air (2010)
I bought this for my MacBook Air that I purchased this month. Since the MBA doesn't have an Ethernet seaport, I needed one for a business trip so found this adapter. I was concerned it might not be compatible. The only thing you will need to do is snare the network adapter when Mac OSX prompts you for it. You only have to do this once, and all you have to do after that is plug it it and presto! Very straightforward, simple to use. Also, I did not encounter any issues with expeditiousness, etc. It worked perfectly fine.

Works out-of-the-box with Ubuntu 10.04
Bought this adapter to confront in for a broken ethernet port on my laptop. Took it out of the package, connected it to a network mooring and plugged it into a USB port on my laptop running Ubuntu 10.04 and it instantly connected. Works gigantic! Very pleased.

So Miserly, but 2 Major Shortfalls. I bet V2 will be perfect
This whim is really close to being a great product. The small adapter with a USB port is great, and the take button/mic operation is a clean and attractive design. This works for playing music from your phone via a bluetooth correlation without any wired connections, and it works as a handsfree device as a relatively cheap option to works-installed bluetooth in your car. The main reason I bought this was to act as a handsfree bluetooth device so I could talk/pay attention to on my phone through my car speakers when a call came in. Sound quality is acceptable, echo cancellation works, but there does not seem to be any other fracas suppression. So, if you are driving on a highway, placement of the microphone/button is critical. The first major shortfall is that it does not autoconnect-- you demand to press the button so your phone connects. That means I need to press the button every time I start my car. That may not seem like a big large, but autoconnect on bluetooth...

Adept device - as long as your receiver has an aux input on the front
This is one of the easiest sad-tooth gadgets to use, and one of the handiest. Unlike most other hands-free add-ons, this one does NOT use an FM transmitter to air over your car stereo- it uses a 2.5mm jack (mini-headphone size - same as an iPod.) This of movement means that your receiver has to have an available jack to plug into. Assuming your vehicle is so equipped, then this is quite the best hands-free add on you could find. One large button controls it all (It also houses the microphone.) There's a cut that gets stuck to your dash - the dash side is foam adhesive tape, the other grabs the handle with a magnet. At one end of the cable is that button/mic combination - this attaches to the dash. At the other end is a standard cigarette lighter rage plug. Stick this in the auto's outlet (I guess they are no longer called lighters.) This end also has the advert that sticks into your sound system's aux jack. That's it. My car has a 12V container and an AUX input inside the center console. I have an iPhone 3GS and had been using a 1st gen iPod Touch to cause trouble music through the AUX input. I wanted to consolidate devices, by using my phone to play music, and also be accomplished to make phone calls 'nearly' hands-free. All while using A2DP (over bluetooth). Hi i recently downloaded battlefield bad cast 2 onto my acer aspire 6920 (vista) and it goes perfectly to the start up menu so i click on stand it goes through the whole intro. Then it freezes at "And here is what really happened that day"
