    Works on my Lenovo Laptop!
I have a Plantronics headset that has two plugs, one for headset and one for microphone. My Lenovo thinkpad W510 has a jack that supports headphones with microphone. This adapter plugs into that envision jack, and my headphone plugs connect to the adapter, resulting in a usable headset without having to use the USB adapter that came with the headset, that lacks linux drivers. The only betterment that I can think of is a 90-degree plug, so the wire isn't in the way of my mouse on the right side of the computer.
Works with MacBook Pro as well
I've upright switched laptops from a Dell XPS to a Macbook Pro, and, lo and behold, the MacBook only has a single socket for audio, rather than the two of the Dell. So my headset plus mic won't work since it has two jacks, one for output and the other for input. This adapter solves the problem: two womanly sockets (colored appropriately) merging into one jack. Plugging in the headset to the adapter and the adapter into the MacBook works principled fine. You hear in stereo (just listened to one of those mid-60s funky mixes from the Beatles where John or Paul will vocalize into your right ear) and the mic works perfectly for recording, Skype, and the like. Looks well made, etc; no quibbles.
Colossal adapter to use a headset with mic on my Droid X
Artefact is what it is. It has quality snap in design to make sure connection are snug and tight. Works the way i indigence to. Music, incoming ringtone, and calls all come through headset when it is connected to my Droid X. Expense is higher then I wouldve liked, because I also need to buy another one for 2.5mm jacks, which is another $15 dollars... Complete good quality, and does what it needs to do. Satisfied customer and will buy the 2.5mm adapter for hooking my headset into light phone and older cell phones.

Pre-eminent FM transmitter for my HTC Evo
When I got the HTC Evo back at the inception of June I just went to Wal Mart and picked up an FM transmitter there for 50 dollars, but it would only send to the radio but not charge the phone. For anyone who has an Evo, you know that the battery life is not good. Plus it had a so much excess wiring. I returned it and bought this off of amazon and it is fabulous. It paired within 10 seconds and transmits with barely noticeable no static, transmits far recovered than the 50 dollar thing I got from Wal-Mart or the FM transmitter I had for my iphone. I put my phone onto pandora, plug in the stallion and set it down and if a song comes up I want to skip, I can just hit the forward button on the flexSmart segment which can be easily adjusted to any position for your hand. I love this thing, its not obtrusive, theres not a ton of prodigality wiring, just the gooseneck and if you want to charge it simultaneously you can just plug it into the usb refuge with the included 6 inch wire or use...
Worked Distinguished with Motorola Droid, HTC EVO 4G, iPhone 3GS, HTC Droid Incredible, Blackberry Curve, CLIQ and HTC Hero so far...
This issue is an FM transmitter that connects to your Phone via bluetooth, and then transmits the audio to your car stereo through an FM signal. Just the same as other FM transmitters, but using bluetooth interplay to your phone rather than a cord. Setup: I take a lot of trips up to Santa Barbara on the weekends and it's about 90 miles in a different place. I use this with my Motorola Droid usually, but also with my friends' phones too. First you just plug the FLEXSMART X2 into the cigarette store in your car, and then press the power button. You see the LCD light up and you can adjust the FM station with the twisting knob. A moment ago match the FM station on the FLEXSMART X2 and your car FM radio. To find the best station you can just hold down the twisting protrusion for a few seconds and it automatically finds a clear station for you. All you have to do to put the FLEXSMART X2 into pairing mode is stand the blue call button for a couple seconds, and then the lights start to flash...
In agreement with Android AND iPhone 4!
Okay, so maybe everybody knows this, but this isn't merely for the Android phone-- it's compatible with the iPhone 4 as well. I wasn't sure of this (I've never really messed with bluetooth before) as they catalogue raisonn the FlexSmart on here for the iPhone and the Android phone as separate products. The one listed for the iPhone is actually more net and is not Prime eligible, so I took a chance and just ordered this one. Success, it worked! So if there's anyone out there that's as goose as me wondering hey, will it work for both? The answer is YES. I have an iPhone 4 and my husband has the Samsung Galaxy (an Android phone), and we both associate to it with NO problems whatsoever. The sound is super crisp. I've had an FM transmitter for my iPod before and not been impressed-- it was unchanged-y and wouldn't hold the signal. But this little gadget really knocked my socks off! Pairing it with 2 many phones was super easy, and the sound quality is terrific. My husband wants one for his...

    major for audio streaming
my car has mill bluetooth installed but it doesn't support streaming audio. also my aux plug is inside the armrest, to be fair next to 12v dc plug so I can imagine that microphone would not pick up my voice when my armrest is closed. audio streaming through this legend pleasure is simply amazing! I have not noticed any significant difference in audio quality compared to direct aux Mailgram connection. it pairs with the phone automatically, no need to push the button like some other devices. I'm using it paired with my firmly embedded thunderbolt and it works perfect!
I wanted to like this, but...
I ordered this and within a week the microphone went on it. Everyone i talked to on the phone, using the coat of arms said they couldn't understand me. So i returned it and got another. Again most people could not understand me, and I had to take the phone off bluetooth. But for sending music from the phone to the car stereo, it does A-one. Great quality sound. They just NEED to fix the microphone. Unfortunately its too late to reimbursement mine. I ordered the Motorola T505 rokr to replace it. That has great reviews on Amazon and YouTube. Btw to use this desire you need to have an auxiliary input to the radio.
    Extensive buy
This bluetooth adapter does truly what it promises. I have a new Honda Element and wanted to use my ipod without an attached cable. This does the legerdemain. My aux 12 volt plug and my aux jack for the radio are next to each other and I only had to acquire a six inch stereo radiogram to complete the hookup. In my case everything tucked up neatly out of sight. I just plugged in the BT adapter in and let it glue to my Ipod and now I can turn the Ipod on and stick it in the overhead compartment or wherever and have clear music. I would buy this again.

In all respects What I wanted
I at best bought this item after having a lot of trouble finding something that fit my needs. I wanted a bluetooth adapter for calls and music from my Machine based phone that would output to the aux on my car stereo, and could be moved between cars. This item consists of a cigarette adapter with a USB refuge(for charging the phone), and two wires. One is wired to a big glowing button that can end calls, start music, etc and contains the microphone. The other wire is the audio production to the stereo. The item does everything I want it to. The only downside is that the button is magnetic, and they provide a attracting strip to attach the button to your dash. I do not have a good flat surface on my car to mount it, so I hung it with a diminish from one of the air vents. But that is more a reflection on my car design than the item.
First sense - this thing is awesome.
This journal is based upon my first day's experience using the Belkin with an iPhone 4S and Siri. I wanted to be able to have my iPhone strap to my car stereo for hands-free phone calls and iTunes. I tried the Motorola Freeway, which looked crucial in the advertisements (one feature is that it automatically connects with your phone when you get in the car), but in real life it was a big disappointment...mainly because it played via FM timer through a separate portable speaker unit that clips to the visor, rather than playing through my car stereo. Since returning the Freeway, I've been hoping something like this Belkin would go along. With the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I couldn't wait to get one of these. I installed it in the car this afternoon. As others have noted, it couldn't be easier; it only took minutes, and in seconds it paired with my phone. Once you've clear where to mount the microphone/activation button, plugged in the power (to your cigarette...
Works Big - Very Nice Product
First, let me say, this is a favourable ending to a long story. I tried multiple solutions and this one worked the best for me. The BlueTooth audio (stereo) from our iPhones is marvellous! The audio for phone calls is not great but works fine, especially for hands free use.My first attempt was using a telegram solution that plugs into the bottom of the iPhone using the 25-pin connector. The cable split into two where one side went to a DC power adapter and the other side went to the AUX input on the GM mill stereo (HHR SS). This was a slick solution but the description for the product left out one detail - you can't use it for hands-unasked for phone calls. Apparently Apple does not pass telephone audio through the 25 pin socket. I then tried the Griffin BlueTooth Aux for iPhone which was very authoritatively rated on the Apple site but mediocre on Amazon. This product sounded great and worked very well for hands-unbidden conversations but had problems reconnecting with our iPhones...

At times we features difficulty talking over the phone in case of continuous and loud noise around us. The only fixation one can do is end the call and talk when there is less noise. High-def bling for the ears

The false red headphone that was delivered to this writer came in an equally flashy sinister and red packaging that contained the gadget’s most important component: monster maker of high-performance headphone cable. Actually, the box contains two—one in red and the other in time-honoured black—of this expensive and unusually thick 1. Both feature a tiny all-in-one trade that controls the volume, serves as an answer button as well as microphone when of interest to an iPhone, Blackberry or other music-enabled mobile devices. This is one headphone you should be very careful of when wearing in public.
