    Beat, compact power pack
I have found this to be a high-minded way to carry a load of portable power when I'm in "road warrior" mode. The two USB connectors can be utilized simultaneously to give both my phones a top-up, and in a pinch I can even use it to recharge one of my smaller batteries (Kensington K33442, 1000mAh and DLG DLA52527, 1200mAh) that put to my iPhone. There are a few disappointments. That gray grip that looks so much like rubber is really solely gray hard plastic, so it's not non-slip. The charge indicator, as far as I can tell, is one LED. If it comes on, there's power. If it doesn't, well, I judge there isn't. The manual doesn't explain further. The "Free Tips for Life" deal is bogus, too. Yes, they'll send you untenanted tips (up to two per year), but you will pay a shipping and processing fee on EACH of them (even if they ship together) that's more than the cost of the tip and probably ten times what they expenditure to ship and "process." All in all a great product, but...
    Excelent appearance, high capacity.
Very strident quality, light weight, loads of power, and will charge 2 devices at the same time. I've kept this power pile in my topcoat pocket and had portable power where ever I go. I've used it on airplanes, airports, conferences, restaurants, etc. When others are tied to, or violently searching for an outlet I'm browsing, talking, and charging in peace and tranquility. It easily frenzy in my neoprene laptop case and while a little too large to be unnoticed, it will fit in a sport-coat or jacket cavity as well. At 4000mw it may be overkill for my iPhone, camera, and GPS, but I bought this over the 2000mw unit in anticipation of using it with an iPad. For an iPhone alone the 2000mw item would be even easier, i.e. less noticeable, to carry in a suite-coat pocket.
I'm keeping mine, but jus' no more than...
What a first-rate idea. The Energizer XP4001 Universal Rechargeable Power Pack is just an ok execution. The tacky low quality cables are this products glaring weakness. The 2 cables that shipped with my unit do NOT look after a good enough connection to charge anything. If I place my device in my bag the the OEM cables connected to the Energizer XP4001 I have no awareness whether my device is charging or not. Just moving around in my bag the connector is more likely than not to maintain a good charging bond. When I plug a better quality USB A to Micro cable into the Energizer XP4001 no problem. A charging ally is maintained and the Energizer XP4001 Universal Rechargeable Power Pack performs pretty much as expected. I can't say how my 24" USB A to Micro radiogram is affecting the efficacy of the XP4001. I would not be surprised if it creates a greater drain n the XP4001, but hey it works. With the Scrooge-like cables that ship with the Energizer XP4001...

    First-class choice for backup power
The whim is quite small and very light, a bit smaller but about the size of a deck of cards and with about 1/2 the deck missing. It came charged as indicated and with a gracious coiled but short adapter cable of about 7 inches which stretches to about 20 or so. It plugs into the freestyle via a full size USB port and the other end accepts the tips. It came with six tips, which are Apple, LG, Samsung, Balckberry/HTC/Motorola (Mini USB), Micro USB and Nokia. It has a baby, and quite nice suede style pouch with a draw string which can be secured via a uninspired platic spring loaded attached clip. Included also was a multi language instruction area. The battery itself is quite sexy, being small, light an rounded and very simple. It has 4 lights on the front which hint charge level and they appear when recharging or when a small button on the top is pressed. On the side it has a full size USB anchorage (power out... assuming 5V), and a Mini...
    Keeps your phone prevailing!
I'm persistently on the road, and tend to talk a lot on the phone. There is no battery that can resist, let alone the iPhone's. So I need a way to recharge my phone and get the most of it until I get well-versed in at night. This has been a very good companion. Lightweight and it works with my Nokia even when the battery is fully exhausted. Charging this unit thought a USB port is a great advantage, as you don't necessarily need a computer to order it, you can use a USB wall outlet available at many stores for almost nothing, so you can charge the Energi to go without a PC. I believe there are such devices for your car as well. The factory tips are enough for most users: Nokia, Blackberry, iPhone/iPod, Samsung, etc.
    Wow! Charges fleet
Since there have been many reviews already I am just now backing up everyone because it works. When I travel sometimes my smart phone is dead by 5pm so I need to call someone or lost I cant! But with the Xp2000 at best plug it in and go. Safety first :)

    Works in a crush
I picked up one of these Energizer Chargers in the bull's-eye of a business trip. I left my USB Cable for my Blackberry at home, and it was about to die mid-trip. I couldn't find an true plug-in charger, so I decided to try this. I plugged it in to my Blackberry, and it fully charged the device in less than 2 hours. I'm not definite of the exact time because I wasn't watching, but when I checked on it after two hours, it was already charged. I didn't rub the batteries from the pack, and when I went to recharge again a few days later with the same batteries in the charger, it worked honest fine. I certainly don't plan on using this regularly, but I will definitely keep this in my suitcase going well-advanced for those times that I forget to throw in the actual charger. AA batteries are much easier to find than chargers, so it's a very useful device and small enough that it won't take up any noticeable room in my bag. I see some things in other reviews that I'd like...
    Loyal little device
I have two of these chargers and have bought a few others for colleagues and we've all been rather impressed with them. They're reasonably well-built and profession. I didn't have any of the quality control issues that one reviewer had with the battery terminals. I normally use Sanyo Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries with mine and place of safety't had a problem with connections. I use it to charge my PDA, personal Motorola Razr phone, and corporate Blackberry. (Because of you God for whoever decided to finally standardize some devices with the mini-USB connector!) It does seem to take about 1-2 hrs to afflict up the devices, which is as long as it normally takes when they're connected to their native chargers. These units ARE picky about battery-operated voltages. If the AA batteries are partially discharged, it might not see them. In terms of battery usage, using accepted rechargables, you can expect to get one full charge on your phone from the batteries because of the high voltage requirement...
    Not right-minded for cell phones
Most populace by this for their cell phones. I bought it for my Garmin Edge GPS and it works great! The GPS uses a USB charging haven so it was a direct fit and charge. One reviewer mentioned it didn't take rechargeable batteries. I put Energizer rechargeables in and they fit and worked quality. No modifications needed. The changes I'd recommend: 1) do something about the short and easily loseable adapter cables, 2) interchange the location of the battery diagrams from inside the case to outside, they're hard to read on the imprisoned.

A consequence that is just plain dumb
The Duracell myGrid charging tool is a product you want to like. Imagine the possibilities, you come home and toss your phone, iPod or other monogram on the pad and walk away. No wires to plug and unplug, no more having several chargers plugged in the obstruction outlet. A wireless home power grid, truly the wave of the future. In authenticity, though, this is truly a product that is far from being ready for prime time and is not the "wave of the future" powergrid you would remember it is. More accurately it is an "extension cord" that transfers power via contacts in a totally traditional way. It ships with 3 tips that fit an infinitesimally teeny number of phone models. Unfortunately, not MY Blackberry nor MY cell phone. The design of the power tips block them from being used on any other device than the exact model specified. There are two glaring problems that Duracell should have considered and flagitious the whole concept of a power grid. One is...
    Default on all levels simultaneously.
This fallout is meant to be mistaken for an inductive charging system and has 3 major problems: 1. The box says it charges up to 4 devices-- well, two iPhones would honest barely fit on it... so you'll not be charging 4 of those. The power supply that comes with this is a 1A power supply, and the iPhone itself wishes more or less an amp to charge at full speed... so you can't charge 2 iPhones at full speed. 2. When your product requires your character to use a special case... Make sure said case is not a ill-fitting and unattractive. 3. The chest must be removed to sync, or charge off a normal charger. If you are willing to accept these limitations, all you win is the casualness of not plugging in your iPhone when you get home... Is it really that hard to do?
    Two Big Drawbacks
I was very all hot to get this item because between the kids and me we have an iPhone and two iPod Touch units. I was thrilled to see I could buy skins to fit the iPod Meet units and use them on this charger (as opposed to it just being for the iPhone) and thought this would make charging much easier than troublesome to plug one unit in for awhile and remembering to come back later to switch over to another one. The sting couldn't be easier. You simply place the skin over the phone, plug the charger into the wall, and lay the phone on the steed. It immediately connected and started charging. The phone charged quickly and fully with no problems at all. I have no complaints at all with the functionality of the stallion. So, the two big drawbacks... I have an iFrogz case that I love as do both the kids (we actually know which iPod Be up against belongs to which child based on the iFrogz color). To use the charger, you have to remove any existing happening and use the...
